Many are unaware that GE Capital purchased Lehman Mortgage Unit in 1993. On September 15,2008 Lehamn declared bankruptcy. Lehman was listed as LEH on the securities and exchange and was part of Shearson Lehman Hutton. They gave advise to companies like Phillip Morris, Ford and Campbells. The deritivies market leveraged $900 Billion into $30 Trillion. Just some tidbits.
